Preparing For Tragedy
There is tragedy in all our lives at one time or another. For most of us, this is true more so today. With all the evil in the world, and our means to do anything about it dwindle, everyone will be affected by some form of tragedy. Usually, that is when most people call to God, either in anger or anguish. Some think God is responsible for devastation in our lives. Most believers will take on the attitude He should have done something to prevent it, or He did something to cause it, as a form of punishment.
When tragedy strikes, non-believers shout, "Where is your God?!" Well, I say to you, with all my heart, He is there, with you. He did not cause tragedy, we do. It is a cumulative effort on the part of all humanity which follows the ways of the world, led by Satan. We make bad things happen, through sin, and evil behavior. Unfortunately, sometimes it spills over into the lives of faithful persons. This does not mean God is not there or he let it happen. The whole point of evil, or Satan's mission, is to shake our faith.
It is certainly how we deal with the tragedies in our lives that makes the difference. If we had total faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we would see, with our souls, He does not wish us harm, but, He will use the harm for good which we cannot foresee.
Satan's one and only desire is to rob us of our salvation. You say you don't believe in Satan? That's alright, he certainly believes in you. His biggest deception is making you believe he doesn't exist. If you accepted the truth, you would drop to your knees this instant, and beg God's forgiveness. And if you think because at one time you professed to be a believer that eliminates you from being a victim of Satan's plan...think again.
I know people, believers, who will not listen to sermons regarding Revelations, the final book of the Holy Bible. They call it 'doom and gloom'. It is almost as if they don't wish to believe that it's part of our lives. By burying our heads in the sand, does not make the truth go away. I have heard Pastors preach we shouldn't watch the news, it is too depressing. As things begin to heat up in the Middle East, the same Pastors are advising to watch the news, as the stage is set for the final chapter. Bad things are going to happen, but, if we focus on the Cross and trust in God, we'll be alright.
The rapture is real. That is the prelude to the Tribulation period of the book of Revelations. It is when Jesus spares His faithful from having to endure Satan's final rule over the earth. Odds are, if you don't believe in Satan, you also don't believe in the Rapture, OR the book of Revelations. Sadly, I'm referring to Christians. That is right. A lot of Christians do not believe in the rapture or Revelations. I have heard people which whom profess with their mouth they are Christian, and yet deny what God's Word says to us. Well, I guess they are true genius, to be able to make that speculation. Even atheist are so certain they have all the knowledge of the universe to be able to find, conclusively, they are right.
Rather, atheists and some Christians, alike, are basing their beliefs on ignorance. For their shallow, narrow minded beliefs they are willing to gamble their salvation and spend eternity in hell. The truth of the matter is, whether or not you believe in the rapture, one day or night, when we least expect it, many of us will be gone, in the blink of an eye, and you will be doomed, left behind. Your choices from that point will really stink. If you finally woke up and realized you were on the wrong path and now it's too late, you should try being a Christian and witness to other morons also left behind. Take care , though, as if you confess to being a Christian, you will be beheaded by the Antichrist. If ye still have little faith in the Lord, you'll probably join your counterparts, the atheists, and take the mark of the beast, which assures you eternity in hell.
Of coarse, if you weren't such a high risk gambler, there is a sure answer to resolve this dilemma. Really become a Christian, NOW. It's that simple. Then you won't risk your salvation, just because you claimed to be a Christian, but, denied your Christ. Many Pastors and clergy will be left behind as they are blaspheming, or following wrong doctrines. If you think that just because you have led so many people to be saved you are guaranteed a place in the rapture, you are sadly mistaken.
Matthew,7:21-23: "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord', will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the ones who do the will of my Father in Heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do so many deeds of power in your name?' Then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you, go away from me you evil doers'."
That was Jesus, talking to believers. I'm no rocket scientist, but, it is real clear to me what he is saying. Oprah Winfrey claims to be Christian, but, denies Jesus on national television. Do you think she will go to heaven, let alone be taken up with the rapture? My bet would be on Oprah for supporting the Antichrist on national TV. Our new President Obama claims to be a Christian, but, wants to broaden the ability to kill babies, even after they are born. He will not be of the missing a second after the rapture. So do not worry heathens, you will still have a president.
The stage is set people. All biblical prophesies have been fulfilled for the second coming of our Christ. This time He isn't coming to sacrifice Himself for us again. He did that already, and we spit on Him. This time He will come to judge the world and crush His enemies. There is no way I want to be around for the Tribulation, nor do I wish to see a lot of misguided, confused, basically decent people be caught up in that hell on earth.
If you are reading this and feel any conviction, or just don't wish to take the risk this is all 'mumbo jumbo', a fairy tale, some radical belief, here is what you should do.
1.If you are already a Christian, but, cherish iniquities in your life, repent. Turn away from the sin and ask Him forgiveness, then pick up the Bible. The Bible is the WHOLE, TRUE, INERRANT, Word of God. It is written allegorically so as to offer up evidence that it is true. It is not fables.
2. If you are not yet a Christian, but, God led you to this article and you read this far out of 'curiosity'... God gave us a gift. He wanted fellowship with His creations, but, we were sinners. He couldn't just give us blanket forgiveness with no commitment on our part. He sent His Son to pay for our sin. All we have to do is believe that, and stop sinning. That doesn't mean you must be without sin. Everybody sins, it's our nature, but, we should strive to not sin, and if we slip, we immediately ask His forgiveness and continue to seek Him in our life. He is a loving, merciful, all powerful, all knowing, Glorious Father. Trust in Him with all your heart and He will be faithful. All you need to do to be washed clean of all past sin is say this prayer from your heart:
Lord Jesus, I am a sinner (confess your sin to Him) and I ask your forgiveness. I know you died for me and I thank you for your sacrifice, for me. I now ask you to come into my heart and become Lord of my life.

Whatever you do, pick up a Bible and devote some time to reading His Word and seeking a relationship with Him. Forgive others, the same way He forgives you. Share your good news with your family, friends, or anyone as you don't want them to be lost as well.

"Warm and Fuzzy" Sermons: Serve Only Satan
The other day I was listening to a well known televangelist, Larry Huch, who was preaching about divorce. He stated if you are divorced it is perfectly fine to get remarried as God wants you to be happy. He used the analogy that before he was a preacher he was a drug dealer with a biker gang and committed numerous crimes; if God forgave him for all he has done, he will certainly forgive you just because you don't wish to be lonely. What?...What?!!!
After the televised sermon, he then gave his epilogue from his office. He began slapping his Bible (at least it appeared to be a Bible) and adamantly stated he "Found nothing in this Bible where God condemns getting divorced and remarried". He may not be dealing the drugs anymore, but, he is definitely using them.
To give the evangelist the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he prepared his poorly researched sermon with a tool such as the Blue Letter Bible (online). Literally, there is no mention of divorce in the King James version. It is referred to as "Put Away", which can be found 5 times in The Old Testament, and 7 times in The New Testament. The NIV refers to "divorce". The other alternative, which is highly believable with today's evangelistic 'BIG BUSINESS', is that he is intentionally trying to entertain his audience with the 'warm and fuzzy/ don't feel guilty/ blank check sin' sermon. Intentional or ignorant, he is not a candidate for Heaven, to put it politely. Neither is anyone who believes him.
Here are the scriptures just from the New Testament: Mat,5:31-32; 19:3; 19:9; Mark, 10:2; 10:11; Luke, 16:18; and 1Cor, 7:11. For the most part, they all say the same thing: If you get divorced and remarry, unless you reconcile, it is adultery. If you marry someone who is divorced, it is adultery.
These scriptures are quoting Jesus, himself. I don't know how much more clear it could be. The Bible, as a whole, is written allegorically, so as to present evidence to us morons, it is true. Parables and symbols and references over thousands of years by dozens of Saints and Prophets who had no knowledge of each others books, all come together and are canonized in one book, The Bible; the True Word of God. Whether we choose to believe it, or not, is a result of God's gift of free will to us. Just because you don't believe it...It is still true.
All throughout the Bible, God warns us to beware of false prophets. That includes evangelists, who claim God is talking to them, and teaching the wrong word. This is how Satan deceives, and robs us of our salvation. Ignorance is no excuse for those who listen to them either. Hos, 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge". This means ignorance is no excuse. You won't be able to blame the teacher, as you were responsible to pick up a Bible and check it out. So sin away, it is your choice. You will be keeping the misleading preachers company during the Tribulation.
I am so sick of hearing these preachers by the dozens claim we aren't supposed to feel guilty. Whether intentional, or they're just bad speakers, they have no business telling people they should not feel guilty about sin. In the (former) drug dealers case, he is forgiven for his previous sin, washed clean. As he continues to sin (and blaspheme) and disregards God's commandments, he will go to hell, no matter how much he claims to believe in Jesus. This whole "legalism" argument is getting ridiculous. We still have to obey God's laws to the best of our ability. He forgives sin past, as we repent, and we move on, staying on a path of righteousness. If we slip, and repent right away, He is forgiving. This idea of not feeling condemned for sin we are still committing, consciously, is absurd. You better feel condemned, and correct it; Fast!
Just saying we believe in Jesus and calling ourselves Christians, does NOT guarantee Heaven, let alone the rapture. The rapture is when Jesus brings His faithful up with Him before the Tribulation. His faithful are the ones who have done their level best to keep His Commandments and believe His Word, in its integrity. Pick up a Bible for your own sake; read it, learn it. It is your eternity. The idiots you are listening to won't be an excuse.
Mat, 7:21-23: "Not everyone who says 'Lord, Lord', will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in Heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?' Then I will declare to them, I never knew you; go away from me you evil doers".
I am no Theologian, but, this is very clear, even to this 'dumb 'ol ranch hand'. That is Jesus' words. You better wake up. Forget about these 'warm and fuzzy' sermons. If you've read my Oprah article, you see Oprah has claimed to be a Christian. Do you think she is going to heaven or the rapture? It is a dangerous thing, this anti-law sermon evangelists came up with to sooth their tithers. True enough, The Old testament, before Jesus paid for our sins, set forth the Law of God. There was no other way to be blessed or stay out of hell, except to adhere to the law. So now you think, because you say you 'believe' in Jesus, you are meeting Jesus in the sky. You think the commandments were smashed, like when Moses was mad. That is a metaphor. The commandments are alive and well.
Remember the demons? They believed in Jesus, that doesn't mean they are going to Heaven. Do you really think our new President Obama will come up missing with the rapture? Do you think anyone who kills babies stands a chance, unless they drop to their knees right now and repent? God says anyone who has hate in their heart for someone is considered a murderer. When you hear these things from the Bible, do you think it was God's suggestion book; He is saying try these things and if they don't suit you I will give you a consolation prize in Heaven???!!!!
This is from The Sermon on the Mount (Mat,7:13): "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it."
Mr. Huch, do you really think this means if it feels good, do it? Do you really think that because Jesus said this over two thousand years ago, it doesn't apply to us "Gentiles in America"? Yes, you said that. When you come down off your 'high', look back at the tapes. Maybe you'll scratch your head and say, "Did I say that?" You are responsible for giving people that impression, even though they are responsible for finding out you are a tool of Satan, on their own. Satan is just resting his head back, grinning at all this warped evangelism.
If you have read any of my previous articles, you should be getting a feel for my passion by now. It breaks my heart that my assignment (or calling) is to reach out to people which whom profess to be Christians, but don't get it. If there is any chance the rapture is relatively soon, which I believe like so many others, it is, then you really need to start considering getting your head out of the sand. It is not worth gambling your salvation away.
Aside from your salvation, if you are a Christian, you should be seeking the Lord's face, in love with Him. Mel Gibson's movie, "The Passion of the Christ" does a better job than any previous production or literature that depicted His suffering for us. Some are squeamish to watch it. I've heard people say it is morbid to watch it. I say keep watching it, until you've embedded it in your mind and heart what your Savior did for you.
Jesus was Innocent, sinless, and loving. He knew exactly what faced Him, but, He willingly went through that, to which no man on this earth would ever subject himself. He was dragged and beaten and humiliated before He was whipped with hunks of steel and glass until His flesh was made like hamburger. A normal man would not have survived that far. Then, He had a crown of thorns forced into his skull and carried the cross to where He would be nailed to it. During all this, He never uttered a word in His own defense. He willingly went through all this for your benefit; and you deny Him?!
Whether, or not, you believe in the end times due to ignorance, are you willing to gamble so many are wrong? Are you that sure it is so far away, you don't have to be concerned, even though, thousands of experts are warning the stage is set...it could be any time? God does not want us to be condemned for past sins, which are forgiven, and forgotten. He never said you shall be forgiven in advance for sins you have not turned away from, or contemplating doing, as so many believe. We cannot do evil works against our neighbor, or brother, or spouse, and be assured we are going to heaven or the rapture, because we utter we are Christians. According to scripture, we are not even faithful to Him if we don't witness to others; and I'm speaking primarily to supposed Christians.
John, 14:15: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments..."
What about non-believers? Most 'Christians' are not full believers, and they are in trouble. If you happen to have read this far and you are not saved, or even think you were saved at one time, but, not quite sure where you would stand if something happened to you today, it is very simple. It is so simple that most people don't even grasp the concept. God (the only true God) wanted fellowship with us. He couldn't just forgive our sins 'across the board' without some effort or commitment on our part, or He wouldn't be a just God. So he sent His Son to be slaughtered for us, and all we have to do is believe in Him and be faithful. We cannot just say we believe, and 'spit' on Him by blatantly disregarding His Word.
All you have to do is open your heart to Him and repent (or turn away from sin) and talk to Him, pray to Him: Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I repent, and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and I thank you Lord. I ask you now to come into my heart and be Lord of my life. Please read "The Four Step Program"
If you prayed that prayer, congratulations, you are now a Christian and when you see me in the rapture you can tell me about it. Once you become a Christian, however, the word Christian becomes a verb (an action word). That means you must do... Do anything. Do everything you can to show people you are faithful to the one true God who saved you. Pick up a Bible, and learn to rely on it. You don't even have to start at the beginning and read it all the way straight through. Start anywhere, just start. The Bible is designed by God in a way that He will speak to you through it. Grow in a relationship with Him, He wants that, and He will never leave you; trust in Him and His Word. He wants to be your Father, but, you must be His child.
Find a church and fellowship with other Christians. Rely on His Word and prayer to discern whether what you hear is 'biblical integrity'.

The Revelation of Passover
Whether you are a believer, or a non- believer who 'feels' you ended up here accidentally, please be patient and read on, you will be blessed.
It all started for me three years ago, almost to the day. A few months prior, I was a lost soul, hopeless. I wanted to end my life. God was not ready to give up on me, or let me give up, and He carried me to a safe place. My first revelation was: I should never have felt lost as long as He was my Father. My whole view of life, and its purpose, changed in an instant. I knew, beyond a shadow of doubt, Only a true Divine miracle could have saved me. It was as though I had really died, and this new person, with a perspective previously impossible, was reborn. From that point, I was ever so close to my Savior.
It used to be, whenever I could fit Him in, I would praise God. I would go to church, most Sundays, and would maybe squeeze in a few minutes during the week, but, usually only if I needed something. Otherwise, I would ignore Him and deny Him glory. I considered myself a Christian, but, that was the extent of my being one.
My heart was changed that morning in February, when I woke up in the bushes, realizing I was alive and there was only one way that was possible. This is why my favorite scripture is Galatians, 2:20, "It is no longer I who live, but, Christ who lives in me..."
I learned, after that day, God is not an absent God, whom we should just fear, and try to hide from. He wants to be a part of our life. We must truly carry it in our heart that He wants to be involved in our lives, like a true Father. He wants us to focus on Him, in good times and bad times, and trust in Him with all our heart. As so many tried to tell me, I tell you, It is so true. Unfortunately, we humans usually have to learn things the hard way. This is what plants it in our heart. I so admire those who are blessed to have learned the true love of God strictly through faith, without the need of a tragedy to wake them up.
At the same time, I believed my marriage was important. I loved my wife, but had not yet discerned the truth. I had peace about that situation, as my priority was my Lord, and 'making up' for lost time with Him. I knew in my heart, He would take care of all my concerns regarding that, or any other issue in my life. If we just focus on Him, He will be faithful to us and supply us with all our needs. I learned to pray fervently. I didn't pray just because I needed something. I prayed for others and to honor Him. I meditated on the Word and what Jesus went through, to give me life, instead of the death and judgement we deserve.
We cannot conceive of His Passion in the midst of our selfishness. The name Christian is a noun, but, once we become one, it should become a verb (an action word).
One morning I was on my knees, praying fervently, in front of the Crucifix; crying so hard I couldn't see. How can we truly hate our sin if we haven't cried over it? As I prayed Psalm 51 (repenting for my lack of faith), I was completely focused on Jesus, vowing to be faithful, and asking Him to hear me and allow me to serve Him. For (some) reason, I was drawn to reach out to my left, as though (someone) had hold of my arm. I never turned my head in that direction, instead, I was still focusing on the Crucifix in front of me. Unaware it was even there, I picked up my Bible as it laid on a table, approximately three feet away. As I drew it toward me, it fell open to a page which was not full of a bookmark or 'post-it' notes, as it normally would. I stopped sobbing, and wiping my eyes with my right arm, looked down at the bottom of the page, as though in a trance, out of control of my own functions. I started reading aloud, Psalm 66:13-20. I couldn't believe my eyes. I read it again, this time the words broken by the uncontrollable sobbing.
My interpretation: I was making the same vows I made in times of trouble. But, this time I make them with everything I have. I cried aloud to Him and He was extolled with my words. If I had not truly repented, He would not have listened to me, but God has truly listened and has given heed to my prayer.
Can you imagine? You are talking to God, and wondering whether He hears you, and He answers you specifically. Out of 2,000 pages, I was directed to the one page that would only answer me to the point of no doubt. He heard me. He truly heard me. My heart was so full. I was already full of joy, but, now I was unstoppable. I was on fire. I couldn't wait to testify to others.
As a few days passed, I had given testimony to anyone that listened. More and more, though, something kept gnawing at me. It was like an uncontrollable conscience, almost guilty feeling. I felt as though I was missing something. It almost took away from the most perfect revelations which now filled my heart. It grew to eat away at me more and more as time passed. It was the verses God had given me. Not the context, but, the numbers, 13-20. Why would these numbers keep 'haunting' me. It got to the point I was troubled about it, assured I was missing something. I spoke to a couple of people about it, but, to no avail. After several days, I gave up on trying to figure out the mystery of '13-20'.
The next morning I was getting ready to go to the office. As usual, I was listening to my favorite radio sermons. Today, however, Chuck Swindoll was not giving his usual gospel lecture. Instead, he was interviewing a gentleman who was discussing the Passover. I listened with curious interest, as I wondered why a Christian broadcast would be discussing a Jewish holiday. As the man was giving his closing statement, Chuck asked him when is Passover this year. The man replied, "13th through 20th".
I fell to the bed like somebody 'sucker-punched' me. It was like data being downloaded on a hard drive. I stopped what I was doing and began praying. I remember the overwhelming feelings that had engulfed me; one of gratification and relief, the other so pleased, as I knew in my heart, He was pleased with me, that I got it. I felt so Blessed.
It was ALL about the blood; the Lambs blood. The first Passover was arranged by God so we could testify, if we didn't ignorantly reject it. In order to get His chosen people out of Egypt, God's last, and most convincing plague would take the lives of all the first born males. The Jewish people would be unaffected by death with the blood of a pure lamb painted over the door to their habitations. Pharaoh was finally convinced, and God's people were released from their bondage.
In the second Passover, a pure Lamb, Jesus, saved us with His blood. By just having faith, and believing in Him, God spared us from death for our sins, and released us from the bondage of them. This should be the most important celebration of all, to Christians. It is the event which allowed us to be called Christians and have eternal life with Him.
By celebrating Passover we are doing it only to honor the Father and the Son. It brings us to another level of relationship with the Trinity. Unlike other holidays which were originally inspired by Holy events, such as Christmas and Easter, Passover is all about devoting time strictly to our Lord, to Honor Him, for what He did for us; instead of going to a traditional church service, or saying a brief prayer before dinner. Rather than commercial invented baubles and events which lead us away from the true meaning of the holiday, Passover celebration is all about the Lord, and passing on the true meaning to others.
It is not difficult to celebrate for Christians. The hardest part is staying without sin. A traditional Jewish Passover starts with the Seder, or the ceremonial dinner, the eve before Passover officially begins. There is a strict menu and ritual that is adhered to. I have done it, and it is very spiritually rewarding. The whole Jewish Passover is to give thanks to the Lord for the first Passover, and to educate the children, so it is passed on and never fades from their memory. Christians can have an equally rewarding Passover celebration by just having Communion on the eve before the start. I recommend unleavened bread (or Matzoh crackers) and Mannischewitz wine (kosher). Typically, the leader of the family would gather everybody around the table and explain the reason and meaning of Passover. For Christians, obviously, we would explain both Passovers, and the connection. Then, after a prayer, you lift up the bread and ask the Lord to Bless it, in the name of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. Break the bread into portions and pass it (or matzoh crackers) to everyone. As you do this, you can recite from I Corinthians, 11:23. Now, you spend the rest of the week of Passover in constant fellowship with the Lord and do not sin.
Most Christians think Passover is during Easter, it is not. Although, we should celebrate Good Friday, when our Christ was crucified, Passover is not always during Easter. This year, 2009, it is April 8 -16. Just remember, the more we put into the celebration, the more we will be blessed for it. The blessings you will receive from your incomparable fellowship with our Lord are endless. Your descendants will receive blessings from your faithfulness. When I attempted to tell other Christians of the significance in Christians celebrating Passover, I usually got the same response..."I thought that was a Jewish holiday".
Most Christian Pastors and Evangelists will not recognise Passover, but there are a handful of churches which do. I recommend you check the search engines for your local area church websites and you will probably find one or two sponsoring a Seder, and the community is usually welcome. For a complete menu and the details of carrying out your own Seder. For an article with more of a Theologian view, read "Should Non-Jewish Believers Celebrate Passover", by Dr. John D Garr.
God led you to this article, the same way He led me to writing it. Please, don't pass up this wonderful opportunity to have a closer relationship with Him, and partake. God Bless you.

Christianity For Dummies: The Article (Prelude To Passover)
This article can be considered a brief "101" class, if you will; mainly targeting that group of people who publicly claim they are 'Christian', but, obviously have no idea what that is. I am not addressing the whole nature of being a Christian, rather, I am only dealing with the actual definition, in layman terms. For the complete manual for life and how to be a Christian, we must begin with The Bible, the true Word of God. So, let's start with the basic definition.
Christian: One who professes to believe in the Christ, Jesus, The Savior, the True Son of God.
There is no other meaning, metaphor, or sub directive. It is a noun, not a verb or an adjective. It cannot be changed, or broken down to mean anything else. It is a label proudly placed upon those who believe Jesus Christ died for our sins. Unfortunately, however, the worldly definition, or what you would find in any dictionary, labels Christianity, or Christian, as a religion. This took place several decades ago, as it became (Politically Incorrect) to say that Christianity is the only way, and it was classified as the belief of a certain group. This is a re-direct based on Satan's lies which sets up the whole theory for doubt in the true Word of God, which lays out the whole meaning of being a Christian. Religions are those groups formed by people who found a derivative from the true integrity of the Bible, as it was written, to suit there needs and beliefs. Sound Crazy? Yes, it is.
For those who are still confused by all this, let's look at the word Christian. It is a two syllable word. If we divide it into syllables, we get Christ - ian. The first part is 'Christ'. This word in and of itself cannot be mistaken for anything else: Christ, the Lord, the Savior, the Son of God, Lamb of God, who took away the sins of the world, and gave us eternal salvation, rather than paying for our sins with death and eternal damnation. The second syllable of the word, 'ian', is a suffix: pertaining to something. So when a person professes to be a Christian, it means they are pertaining to, or belong to, the Christ, the Messiah, the only way to the Father. Generally speaking, this means one who calls themselves a Christian, basically believes in the Lamb of God's brutal torture and death for our sins; and does not deny Him on national television.
This is what the whole Bible is about, if you take it for its integrity, and not how it is interpreted by religions. Most religions believe in the Old Testament, pretty much word for word. Certain people bought into Satan's lies, designed to steal our salvation from us, and the result is The New Testament is seen as a completely separate book "of myths" and not held to be true.
Both the Old and New Testaments are One. Perhaps if the context were structured as though the New Testament was just the next chapter, it would be easier for simple minds to grasp it. No matter how much the Old Testament directs us to the Son, whether in prophecy or acts of God, there are those who will deny to the bitter end. What people need to realize, no matter how Oprah Winfrey rationalizes it in her new religion, all the good deeds in the world will not get you to Heaven.
God mapped out a plan for us, because he loves us. He sent His Son as a sacrifice, so we could have a choice whether, or not, to accept the gift of salvation. It is not forced on us. He gave us free will to choose our paths. The only stipulation is that we have faith, not in this world, but, in Him. We are all sinners, Oprah, even you. No matter how many good things we do, we are sinners. The wages for sin is death, and Hell. Jesus came along and sacrificed Himself for our sins, so we can have eternal life and reign with Him. When we deny Him, we are spitting on Him and what He did for us, just as the Romans spat upon Him as He carried His own cross to where He would be nailed to it. He did nothing wrong, and was not a sinner, but, He gave His life so you could be given the opportunity of eternal life, and you spit on Him. We cannot begin to conceive of His passion, in the midst of our selfishness.
Anyone who is reading this and feels a conviction in their heart, and gets it, and wants to ensure your salvation, it is simple. The most beautiful thing of all of it is, He made it so simple. It is just a decision, in your heart, to repent, or turn away from intentional sin, and accept Him as your Savior. If you are serious, and it is from your heart, all you need to do is talk to Him, and say this prayer: "Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe with all my heart, you died for my sins. I repent and ask your forgiveness of my sins, and I ask you to become Lord of my life".
That's it! It seems so hard for some to take that step, but, it is all in the heart. If your heart is ready, it is the easiest thing, and the most important thing, you could ever do. Now you find a Bible and learn what so many take for granted and pervert, is the greatest gift on earth. And for Heaven's sake forgive others as He forgives you. If you are a new believer, follow this 10 step Guide For New Christians.
Galatians, 2:20 : "For it is no longer I who Live, but, Christ who lives in me; and this life I live in the flesh, I live through the faith in Jesus Christ, who died for me, and gave me His everlasting love."

The Gospel: According To Oprah
Most parents, if they saw their children about to scoop up a handful of water off the ground and bring it toward their mouth, would yell, "Stop!", and run to them exclaiming how dirty it is. Water is THE most basic need in life. If it stopped flowing into our house, we would demand answers. When, due to drought, there was a threat it would stop flowing into homes in the southeast region of our country (Georgia) it was on the news everyday, and became a major concern until it was resolved. No One would have let the population of Georgia start dying off because they didn't have flowing water. Neither Politics nor money would have been an issue, even if we had to truck in water from all over the country.
There has been a handful of people and organizations in Africa for sometime now, trying to make a difference, and utilizing what media is available to them to get the word out. The main word is, "There is not enough money to build the wells needed". What?!!!
How can this be? How could money possibly be the issue involved in keeping water from anybody on the planet? Most countries have no issue with providing the most basic need of humanity to their people. If they did, a rally would be implemented to solve the problem. A drive would be initiated by so many celebrities and governments, until the issue was resolved. This issue is simple. These people need water, among other things, but, won't have it until wells are built. I understand the general cost of a well is around $5,000 USD. Each well can provide enough water to supply a community.
People, like the Robisons, spend most of their time and effort to make a difference in this region. Most people turn away from the images they may accidentally come across on TV of the suffering children. They may think 'it is terrible', but, what can they do about it? That is another world, and we are not responsible for making it that way, nor can we fix all the world problems. These are all good excuses, I guess. The fact of the matter is, these people who are in dyer need of something we take for granted, are all children of God, our brothers and sisters. Further more, they did not ask for, or do anything to put themselves in, this horrible situation. Rather, the situation has been forced upon them by a few, whom are only concerned about their power and wealth.
As I watched these babies drinking from this disease infested water, a chill came over me. A thought rushed into my head (uh-oh!). Where are all these people worth BILLIONS? Why don't we have a Billionaire Drive? Oprah Winfrey is part of that club. She could take credit for it by having her people organize it. Who cares as long as it gets done? In fact, one Billionaire could probably solve the problem and never miss the money. In fact, by their actions, they would gain so much popularity through the media coverage, it would be more of an investment. In fact, it would save millions of lives, rather than refine the education of a few hundred.
I am not picking on Oprah for being rich. I submit article A, for your consideration: Oprah spent millions (which I personally think she got ripped off) for a building in Africa, with her name on it. It was on every channel and news broadcast for weeks. We were updated on the progress by her 'publicity people', always keeping the media updated on the fine thing Oprah was doing. She gained even more attention for herself, and aside from selling even more books, she has a building with her name on it. It houses a limited number of girls to refine their education and help them develop a career. This will be just one of Oprah's legacies.
According to Oprah, this is all you need to get into Heaven. She has openly denounced Jesus on national television. She has claimed in the past to be a Christian. Yes, it is true, I was not there when Oprah became a Christian, so I don't know how it happened. But, I do know for a fact, if I spend the night in my garage, I will in no way become a car, except in my mind if I choose. Then, I will be locked up, until which time I can prove I don't believe I am a car anymore. Oprah can foolishly claim to be whatever she wants, but, she is preaching to a huge audience a calamity, of which, will lead unsuspecting admirers down with her. She obviously has never read the Bible...The True Word of God. If she has, she obviously has picked and chosen only the items she liked, leaving the rest as 'not falling under the category' she desires.
The entire point of the NEW TESTAMENT was to give us sinners a way to have a relationship with the father. The Lamb (Jesus) is referenced to all throughout the Old Testament. The whole point of the first Passover was God saving His people by the blood of a pure lamb, smeared over the doorways of His people. It was only done as a symbol by God to show us He had planned from the beginning to save us by the blood of the Lamb (His Son). God couldn't just forgive us across the board for our sins with no commitment on our part. How could we respect Him? It is hard enough to get Christians to adhere to the Word. Jesus paid for our sins, because God loved us so much and wanted to provide for us the opportunity to form a relationship with Him. But, we cannot do it without Jesus. The second Passover not only gave us the gift of our salvation, but, the gift of having Communion with our Savior.
John, 14:6, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me."
By Oprah forming her (new) belief, regardless whether she heard it from someone else or came up with it on her own, she is using her visibility to drag others down with her. We cannot pick and choose, like a smorgasbord, what we like or dislike from God's word. What is she basing her ignorant conclusion on. All the evidence is in the Bible. Satan has managed to convince a vast majority of Christians, they can get away with discounting something in God's Word that disagrees with their philosophy or way of life. Our own President Obama claims to be a Christian, but, has no problem with killing babies as they are delivered. He stands in support of an organization which was formed, and still stands for (which was attempted to be proven) the weeding out of black pregnancies in America. Ironic? Absolutely not. It is Satan's lies to lead us away from the truth.
Satan has planned way ahead for all this. He is stupid, but, non-believers are more stupid. How else will it be explained, when millions of people disappear for the rapture? Some will come to their senses and realize they were wrong and there really was a rapture. Most will believe the 'logical' explanations of terrorist attacks or alien ships. Oprah serves a god, but, not our God.
While I don't personally know Oprah, I don't have to in order to know she is wrong. She may be a wonderful person, but, she is still going to hell, unless she accepts Jesus as the Son of God, and her personal Savior. God can, however, even use unsuspecting heathens to do His work. So, Oprah, if somehow this message gets to you, you may freely place your name on each and every well you have constructed for the needs of the dying people in Africa. In fact, there are so many Billionaires now, They can each claim a well to place their name on it. The cost would not be the tab for your last dinner party. Or Oprah could make it a regular 5 second spot at the end of each show (as Bob Barker did for pets) encouraging people to contribute. Regardless how it gets done, just do it. I am sure Oprah was crushed when she heard the news regarding the scandal at her school, but, regardless of what a good deed it was, clearly Satan was in control. I won't get into who was in control of her backing of Obama.
Oprah would never consider taking every penny of her money to Las Vegas and throwing it all down on a roulette table. Nor would anybody follow her. But, she is willing to gamble on an issue in which all the evidence is stacked up against her and so many people will follow her, and lose their eternal life. It is pretty obvious, if the Antichrist is revealed in her lifetime, Oprah will support him into power. If she doesn't believe in Jesus, I'm sure she doesn't believe in the Antichrist. I'm sure the Antichrist will believe in Oprah. For all you fanatics, it's not Obama, he never came close, biblically, but he will 'set a good stage', biblically.
